THE DST LIFE CYCLE
The typical life cycle of a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) is around five, after which the property is sold and investors receive their share of the proceeds which can be reinvested into another DST if desired.
-
A client sells their investment property as they normally would sell real estate with the intent to exchange.
-
Clients use a Qualified Intermediary (selected or referred) to conduct a 1031 exchange, which enables them to defer paying capital gains taxes.
-
Saxony Securities evaluates and provides a large platform of securitized, turnkey DSTs that are cash flowing.
-
Trusted Capital Partners educates and collaborates with clients to select multiple DSTs as replacement property through a deliberate process that includes accreditation as an investor.
-
Clients execute the purchase of their DSTs through the 1031 Qualified Intermediary, the same as purchasing property.
-
Monthly distributions commence immediately and are deposited directly to the client by the sponsor, with no reductions by way of fees or assets under management costs.
-
The typical life cycle of a DST is five years. When the property is sold, clients receive a return of principal and, as a beneficiary, 100% of any additional gains* from capital growth.
-
Clients have the option of repeating another 1031 exchange into another DST, which can be continued in perpetuity or other options.
